Porcelanosa promotes dialogue between design professionals
Porcelanosa keeps innovating. The new trends in business communication, including this newsletter, seek to transmit information in different ways depending on who they are addressed to or what the intended message is. In this way, the Porcelanosa group recently organised two information sessions in Palma aimed, more than at final clients, at those professionals supporting them in their projects and also at students who aspire to be part of the industry in the future and lovers of architecture and design who enjoy these round tables so much.
The first of the sessions was held on 16 October in their showroom located in Gran Via Asima and was intended to allow a select group of top professionals, at the level of the products offered by Porcelanosa, to discuss current trends in the personalisation of interior design projects. It is not a masterclass by a single speaker, but the sharing and discussion, even based on their experiences, among some of the island’s most prestigious interior designers.
This discussion among professionals was moderated by journalist and pragmatic consultant Gema Font, who led the roundtable, giving way to guest interactions and asking questions about the topic.
The meeting was attended by David Martínez, Minimal Studio; Tolo Meliá, Damián Pujol; Deniz Kardas, from D·K·A·T Architecture & Design; Sol Feldberg and Aina Julian, from Ingeniatura; Sara Espinosa, from 3de3arquitectes; Marga Comas, from Marga Comas Interior Design; Jorge Bibiloni, from Jorge Bibiloni Studio and Tony Prat and Julie Herzig, from Costagin. They are a superb representation of some of the island’s studios and interior design offices.
Porcelanosa has renowned and prestigious professionals who advise and lead both domestic and foreign clients, always striving to offer the best products and solutions. That’s when your team shows its potential so that they can rely on the wide range of materials and services on offer to make the dream home, whether new or refurbished, meet the highest standards, both the professional and the final client’s. New trends and proposals are always available to professionals who incorporate Porcelanosa into their supplier portfolio. It is a guarantee of satisfactory solutions.
The second session took place on 17 October, bringing together an extraordinary representation of made-in-Mallorca architecture. The title chosen for the event was “Heritage and Modernity: balancing the conservation of architectural heritage” and was the main thread of the talk between Vicente Tomás, from SCT Estudio de Arquitectura; Jordi Herrero, from Jordi Herrero Arquitectos; Sandra Umpierrez, from Medina Architecture Studio; Bernardo Oliver, from Bernardo Oliver ARQ; Jaime Salvá, from Jaime Salvá: arquitectura e interiorismo; Arturo Vila, from 3de3arquitectes; Helena Montes, from CMV architects and Ignacio Salas, from nb Arquitectes.
The session became an interesting networking session, moderated again by journalist Gema Font, in which this group of architects presented their opinions on the need to adapt their work to the balance between two seemingly distant concepts, modernity and heritage, which, when appropriately combined, result in extraordinary beauty and utility.
Porcelanosa’s products, which seamlessly blend modernity and the most exclusive technology with the solemnity of imperishable quality, are an indispensable element in achieving this goal of maintaining the real estate heritage and adjusting it to the needs of modern times. It’s about keeping the essence without missing the opportunity for the cutting edge. Porcelanosa and professionals like those who participated in the event joining forces are the best way to achieve this.
Porcelanosa Mallorca will keep holding these professional events to keep all the players involved in the process of transforming a dwelling into a home informed on time of the best solutions, products and services available in the market, being able to access them in person or through different means such as social media, their Youtube channel or various publications, depending on the characteristics of the event.
