Alternative financing for a new boost

The Balearic real estate and tourism sectors come together to explore new paths for growth

A day to share knowledge and spark debate

On October 15, the assembly hall of the Chamber of Commerce will host a conference dedicated to Alternative Financing as a key tool to drive growth in the Balearic real estate and tourism sectors.

The event presents a unique opportunity to listen, debate, and connect with top-level experts from the financial, real estate, tourism, and political fields. Led by TQ Eurocredit, leaders in alternative financing, attendees will discover firsthand the most innovative solutions that are transforming access to capital today.

The event will take place in a roundtable format, with an introduction and context provided by Pep Verger, director of El Económico, the economic weekly of Grup Serra.

Two panels, two key approaches

The first roundtable will address the topic “Keys to alternative financing: challenges and opportunities for construction and access to housing”, with the participation of:

  • José Luis Mateo, Minister of Housing, Territory, and Mobility of the Government of the Balearic Islands
  • Bernat Martínez, General Director of TQ Eurocredit
  • Jaime Oliver, Director of OHLAB Architecture Lab
  • Alejandra Marqués, Vice President of PROINBA

The session will be moderated by Mateu Oliver, Dean of the Official College of Industrial Engineers.

The second panel, under the title “Capital for sustainability: the role of financing in the future of the hotel sector in the Balearic Islands”, will feature:

  • Aurelio Vázquez, General Director of Summum Hotel Group
  • Luis Figueras, Partner of Debt Advisory at Implica Corporate
  • Gabriel Buades, Lawyer at Buades Legal
  • Juan Miguel Gil, Director of Tourism Business at Banco Sabadell

This second roundtable will be moderated by Bernat Martínez, General Director of TQ Eurocredit.

Closing remarks and networking to keep growing together

The day will conclude with an address by Jaime Martínez, Mayor of Palma and an architect with a distinguished career.

After the closing remarks, a networking aperitif will be offered to encourage conversation, the exchange of ideas, and the creation of synergies among attendees.
